During the Portugal gap year surfing programme you not only learn to surf you most likely will make friends for life, eat delicious (fish) barbeques at the camp site that is just 1 km away from the surf camp and explore the many beaches in the area. Also the surf camp is very social and the instructors are great, friendly and they have a lot of patience, believe me I tested it.
Along with the excellent skills of the surf instructors this programme has more to offer. On a gap year surfing in Portugal you will get in touch with the locals very easily. You get to know their great food and wines and with the Xtreme Gap surf camp we will make sure you meet lots of likeminded people. This is a very social place where you will make lots of friends.

Well right now we have gap year surfing programmes in Portugal bear the most western point of Europe with wonderful secluded beaches, great food and great waves, we have a learn to surf camp in South Africa in Muizenberg, we have surfing programmes like learn to surf but also a 3 month surf instructor course in two camps in Australia between Sydney and Byron Bay, and we have a programme in Ecuador that combines surfing with learning Spanish.
